Education

Hurt is home to one public elementary school and one private school (K-12).  Local students who attend public schools beyond grade 5 are served by Gretna Middle and High Schools, about 15 minutes south.  Pittsylvania County Schools also feature an Adult Education Center, a Career & Technical Center, Regional Alternative School, and STEM Academy.  We support high quality educational foundations for all our youth.  See the links below to read more about area schools.
